Mariachi Los Toros began as a childhood dream of their director Carlos Parra
in September of 2001. This group of talented, young,
and studied professional musicians since the first year of existence
have had the opportunity to perform for important festivals and concerts,
such as the KCET “Holiday Celebration” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
Recently Opened Up For Epic Rock Band FAITH NO MORE at the Hollywood Palladium.
Many Performances at the world renowned Hollywood Bowl.
Recorded a Mariachi Version of "Amor Clandestino" for the Group MANA with Producers "Twins Valenzuela".
Mariachi Los Toros has also been invited for 6 consecutive years to
El Encuentro Internacional del Mariachi, in Guadalajara.
Performing at the famous Teatro Degollado, in Guadalajara.
They’ve also had the privilege to receive the Galardon Award
from the Camara de Comercio de Guadalajara.
Despite their young age and capacity to transmit this great music,
members of Los Toros still attend various Universities and Colleges
around Los Angeles, most offer private lessons to various community groups or programs.
They have also given music workshops at the Denver and Nebraska Mariachi Festivals
with some of the members also teaching at the Albuquerque Mariachi Spectacular.
They have been featured on various radio stations like
El Piolin, KBIG 104, La Raza and Super Estrella. Appeared on SOUTHLAND, THE MINDY PROJECT, SUBURGATORY.
Fox, NBC, KTLA and Univision.
Recorded the music for a film released in Mexico in 2008 titled
“Los Campeones De La Lucha Libre.” They have recorded a total of 3 CD’s
with their 3rd album “Amigo Mariachi” released SEP 2010!
With the dedication, and passion of their director Carlos Parra

mariachis in the world in past years drives him to arrange with a
new, fresh style and edge which is now “La Nueva Era del Mariachi”
